I grew up on 13th street in Harrisburg, I was only 5 when this occurred and I remember it as if it happened yesterday. That blizzard was crazy, my aunt and grandma lived on 2nd st so they came to stay with us for awhile I think bc of flooding . We watched this live on tv, it took years for me to even step an inch on any bridge. Still waiting for the bridge to be “fixed”…..
Where'd that trust fund go? Restoration sure dragging its feet, I tell ya h-what.
This gives a whole different meaning to "a bird's eyes view." Check out how BOLD the pigeons were when Walnut Bridge hit Market Bridge at the end. A few even flew right in front of it, landing on Mkt St Bridge to get a better view!
When mother nature says fuck you
i cant wrap my head around the speed the x/y rubber belts are going. the traction must be enough to pull a car
My senior year of HS. All that snow and ice and then it warmed up to the 60s
Oh wow
good for consumer printer... i print it in 7:10 minutes
❤0:17 beautifull girl 😍 sexy 😍 on scooter 😍🛵🤤
Too bad the idiots that run Harrisburg are too busy sucking dick, and wont make an effort to fix the bridge
It’s outdated anyways. They should just replace it or be cheap 🤡 and not.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the same printer that uses lidar or something similar to analyze the print bed and lay out a near perfect first layer, right?
Correct
My Ender 3 cries at 40mm/s 😂
You can do 60mm/s to about 80mm/s maximum. Faster if you're brave enough.
3D printing finally has achieved productional level quality and speed for real scale manufacturing.
I loved that brige
Шредер
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen this footage. I was 16 at the time. I’m reminded about this every time I drive across the river. I always wondered why they didn’t repair the bridge.
Maan this is unreal *_* Great video bro 👌
like a freaking ink jet lmfao
what a absolute UNIT this this is. Great video m8.
Supper impressive,What setting are you ?
I might have to upgrade from my A8. 😮
crunch
I dont know if you know this, but that handle rotates, just have to break or cut the little supports.
my ender 3 can do a benchy in less than double the time, ur printer is capable of more than this
Stock Ender 3? Same slicer settings? I don't think so.
@@Kashban 4000mm/s accel and a few hundred mm/s speed idk what its top speed was tho i dont use klipper
@@hipter1212 😂
@@hipter1212 post a video then lol
@@DigitalDivotGolf ok
Man thats alot of global warming... we should all be dead by now.
Could you share your full print settings? I tried to slice a benchy with Bambu slicer and the settings they wrote in their 17 min benchy video but I can't get anything near those speeds. I'm getting around 40 mins.
just run the pre loaded on ludacris its 12 min and change without calibration and lvl and all that its little over 17 minutes on standard mode
I dont know bambu full settings but do know it .25mm layer height and I believe 10% infill
@@jamesharris9894 run one according to the actual Benchy challenge parameters.... It is truly impressive. But they cheated, and it is pretty uncool.... I can print a sub 10 min benchy by "cheating" on the rules as well.... on a modified X5SA (with Kilppper). but this is an effed up way to pretend an ender5 done right with an enclosure is worth 1k+.... Post a benchy based on the ACTUAL rules.... otherwise it is a poorly tuned Vzbot, Voron, etc, or a very well tuned Corexy with Kilpper, of ANY kind.. Literally...
Probably need to turn off minimum layer time in filament settings. Also the stock starting gcode takes forever and a modified one will reduce it by 5 or 6 minutes of prep time.
Insane! Saving up for one right now
Me too.... BUt hey, if I want one, better get saving..........
Wow! I'm surprised you got these results while facing the bow overhang away from the aux fan, what was your reasoning behing that orientation?
I didn't want the bow directing air downward away from the cabin bridging; the back seems the most open for the air to get into.
The prints I can do on this, incredible!
Very neat, can you share your settings in the video description for us to try too 🙂
Are the standard settings of the Bambu Lab X1. Nothing changed, just runs on speed "Ludicrous" mode. That's 500mm/s
I lived in Harrisburg on 29th from September 1989- February 1990.
How does this printer not have more hype
cus bambu
it will
I does😂
its not underrated nor overrated. I wouldnt want it to be overrated like the ender 3 tho lol
@@psy0rz it does now lol
Does changing the layout to print over in a corner or side speed up overall print or something ?
On the X1, the big auxiliary cooling fan, mounted to the case and blowing across the build surface at nozzle tip level, is on the left and more toward the back, so I placed the model there for maximum cooling. You can see the mouth of the fan just under the light bar, especially at around 12:30 in the video..
@@debren27 gotcha thanks man
Would you share your 3mf file on Facebook for us to try it?
Dude, it's a benchy.
it is an altered file, not printed according to the actual "Benchy speed challenge" rules. A great printer for someone with 0 knowledge, 100, like sweet!!. But they used some BS #'s to attract customers.... And anyone who actually BUILDS printers, it is ok ish. As an old guy, who has seen a LOT (lot), anything claiming to be the what what above the other what what, needs time to grow, even if it is "so much better"... Eg: I build drones, LOVED the DJI, until I started actually building them for real... Understanding the "real user experience" of the product over the "real user experience" of knowing the real specs, possibilities, different minute shifts in what priorities you want... Like a video game, You only have so many points to use over the spectrum of traits, anything shiny is probably there to make you feel good, whilst removing other "less" attributes that do not make sense until you try to fly. then turns out, you spent $$$$$$$$ on fake wings. Bambu, is great, bet. I wanted one until I pushed the physics of my existing printers. Now I have a 350x350x420 that can print a benchy faster, for less $$$
Is that the Energetic build plate?
Yes, dual-sided gold textured and I scraped the back tab.
@@debren27 I get my printer tomorrow. I have the plate already. What do you mean that you scraped the back tab? Like the cutout?
@@OregonDuck The little loop in the middle of the back edge that sticks out. On the original build plate it's bare steel (the Cold Plate sticker doesn't cover it) so it was recommended to scrape it bare, although there's some debate.
@@debren27 ah ok. I just opened mine and I see what you’re saying. Ty for the description
Do you still need glue stick when using PEI sheet on the x1 carbon?
Near perfect benchie in 12 minutes on a stock machine... wow
Holy smokes man !
I grew up in Steelton and loved walking on the bridge as a little kid when we would go to City Island for Senators games. I was heartbroken as an 8 year old and still am to this day.
“Listen to me describe that thing we’re all looking at!”
Too bad that one excitable woman kept screaming.
New to this area. Oh, so that's why that bridge looks like that. The ice flow on that river is pretty dramatic.
That's awful
Does anyone have the pics / video taken by the guy standing on the bridge?
Vintage episode of "Will It Shred"
"bridge over troubled water"
Makes me wonder if the state will use some of the federal infrastructure money to rebuild that section of the bridge. One of these days, I would love to walk to the West Shore on it.
Mother Nature doesn't screw around.
Fun fact, that portion of the Walnut Street bridge has remained empty
Fed up of being far from its love one, the old steel truss bridge took a walk and join its concrete love, hug it. Sadly its old hearth fail and it collapse apart. It was brief but its dream was fulfilled...
